Be one who listens with equanimity, entirely free of judgement, even (and especially) as others explore the depths of their victim-consciousness. Do not shy away from the depth of emotion you may encounter.
When you are struggling with numbness or lack of feeling, it may be difficult to be present with those who feel emotion deeply. Allow your heart to be touched by their tears and the depth of their love. In hearing their stories, feel your own heart grow. Through their joy and pain, you receive healing.
Each person you encounter is a precious gift, specifically chosen to aid in the opening of your heart. What you may think is a service to others may actually be your greatest gift to yourself as you come to understand what it means to be human.
Discover joy in that which you once found distasteful. Allow each and every moment to bring you pleasure. Surrender completely to each task in your day, diving deeply into its waters, imbuing each activity with the refreshing coolness of your own inspiration, creativity and passion.
The root of “compassion” is “passion”. Compassion is to give or offer passion to self and others. Compassion can be as simple as making a meal, cleaning the house, or commuting to work. If you live alone, the simple daily tasks of life are like little love letters to your own soul. When you offer compassion to self and others, you ignite your own inner fire.
Tend to this flame. Feel great tenderness for the heart that holds it. Feel the sweetness of living a life guided by the unique signature that was written on your heart.
This is the signature that was written on your heart not only at the beginning of this life experience, but at the beginning of time. This signature is guiding your life’s unfolding as you express into millions of lives lived through countless lifetimes.
Compassion is the guiding force that links these timelines together in perfect orchestration. The music you create is of the utmost importance as it literally transforms the fabric of reality, not only for you, but for all other beings on your planet and beyond.
Step into the fullness of your greatness, dear one. Claim the dreams that are innately and especially yours as designed by your heart’s unique signature.
