What you do for one, you do for many. The kindness you offer to one person, one plant or one animal, radiates through all of creation in a vibrational wave of communion. There is no such thing as a wasted deed. Though it may seem that a kind act or word falls on deaf ears, the sound reverberates through the planet, saturating the soil, infusing the water, and permeating the air.
There is joy in the doing. Look for nothing in return. Your reward is the warmth and safety that comes from knowing your kindness stems from inner guidance. In offering kindness, you are nothing less than an emissary of grace, acting on behalf of a loving Creator. Through your words, your hands, your eyes, your warm embrace, the Creator expresses love for all of creation. What higher calling is there? What higher purpose? This is your most sacred duty, a calling extended to all mankind; to love all of creation as the Creator loves.
Make sweetness, tenderness and compassion your bedfellows and you will long for nothing more. In the presence of your own loving kindness, you are complete.
