Life’s purpose is to love. Love God / Source / Higher Power / I Am. Love yourself. Love each other. Every desire apart from this is just distraction.
Even worthy pursuits like world peace, ending hunger or being a better person are aspirations that can draw your attention from the primary purpose of life, which is to love God, self and other. Though each of these pursuits may be rooted in love, they can easily become entangled in complexities that draw your focus from the love that inspired them. True freedom lies in releasing attachment to any vision apart from love.
Any human being on earth is capable of choosing love. Every person who has ever walked the earth was capable of choosing love. Every person who follows us into the future will be capable of choosing love.
Love, life’s truest purpose, is within reach of every human being who suffers the ravages of war, hunger, pain, illness and deep emotional trauma. Love is available to the poorest man on earth as well as the wealthiest. Love is available to those who are weak as well as those who are physically strong. Love is available to those with limited mental capabilities as well as those with great genius. Love is available to those who spend their entire lives in one place as well as those who travel the world. Love is available to those who choose a simple life as well as those with great aspirations. Love is available to the spiritual pauper as well as the guru.
Life’s truest purpose, for every human being without exception, is to love God, self and other.
The amazing myriad of forms love takes as it expresses into this world is truly wondrous to contemplate. Your expansiveness in living out your life’s purpose is virtually limitless. When you tap into your boundless creativity and become fully aware of the many ways you can express love in this lifetime, there is literally nothing you cannot accomplish.
