Create space for contemplation. Even if it means setting your alarm 20 minutes earlier, create space to honor and celebrate that which is divine within you. You are sacred, sweet soul. The very essence of your being is tender, wise, playful and kind.
The joy you seek outwardly is found inside first. Cultivate that joy. Water it. Feed it. Nourish it. Care for it. And then watch it blossom, flourish and grow in absolutely every aspect of your life: your relationships, your finances, the fulfillment of your life’s purpose, your health, and your radiance. All will mysteriously and effortlessly fall into place when you attend to your inner garden.
This is what is meant by “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and its righteousness. And all these things will be added onto you.”
During this sacred time of the year, as we bear witness to the magic and mystery that lives within the holiday season, do not be surprised when life delivers exactly the perfect gift to help you grow; the specific challenge or perceived adversity that you may not want, but truly need. This challenge was specially chosen just for you, dear one, by a loving Creator who wants nothing more than to show you how very much you are loved.
Can you see the love, disguised as adversity? Can you see beauty in the conflict, waiting to be resolved? In the hands of this loving Creator, your life is an orchestral masterpiece, more beautiful than the work of earth’s greatest composers. Your awesome masterpiece needs the resolution of discord. Your life’s emotional harmonics will settle for nothing less than the perfect and complete healing of your soul. And this, precious love, is the true gift of the holiday season.
